If the NPA wants to be known for their ideology instead of violence and lawlessness, then they need to show civility and consideration for their people. This is not the time to fight the latest government who is simply providing the immediate needs of the people. If the NPAs are true warriors, then they should follow the unwritten code of combat which is to fight fairly at the proper place and time. Cease the fighting for now. Mano a mano later.
Just so sad and cannot seem to fathom the logic of some well- meaning and educated Filipinos that while we detest to high heavens the evil deeds of these misguided brethren of ours in the CPP NPA yet we lauded and make all kinds of justification to condone the evil deeds of the CCP. Aren't they of the same mindset, promoting false equality among the ordinary members while the leaders enrich themselves. And to look back in history ,did Martial Law really put a stop to these ideology of our misguided brethren .It never did, even increase in nos. it was just hidden ,along with the abuses of those in power because there was no transparency and the freedom of speech and the media was curtailed. Ask the families of the thousands who dissappear and victims of summary executions during Martial Law . These problems have been existing on and off during the past regimes yet not one of them declared Martial Law ,coz the Filipinos been there and it was a disaster.Only a weak President will declare Martial Law when the only problem is a few misguided Filipinos in dehumanizing poverty and lured to false hope of this ideology , that is nothing in comparison to the problem of drug addiction that is still existing ,if not only for this virus that crippled China's supply of the illegal drug cartel ,the problem would not have lessened. May it be that when the laws of the land fails ,the laws of the heart prevails . At this time of lockdowns and quarantine ,the gov't should feed all Filipinos.
